Consultancy Services Engineer Review

I complete design packs for local highway agencies, usually including the upgrade of existing sites to newer technologies, allowing for improved levels of mobility throughout the area.
These design packs include, but are not limited to, AUTOCAD drawings, risk assessments, client meetings and site visits.
Each site is different so it allows for a flexible working environment.

Yes, after the first week of intensive training, the 'training wheels' were off and I was allowed to speak with clients and work un-supervised on designs.
Although the responsibility came quickly, the level of support never died down. Everyone was incredibly helpful.

I have learnt many skills directly related to the job during my time here; Customer liaison, Health and Safety in the workplace, On-site assessments, Risk Assessments and First Aid training.
I have completed various training courses relating to anything from project management to business communication to improving my strengths (strengthscope)
I have also learnt how to use new software's such as AUTOCAD, Quickgreens and how to write basic HMTL / javascript

The level of support and guidance I received during this role was un-paralleled to anything I have every experienced.
