Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am a housekeeper at Premier Inn Hotel. I clean rooms and set them up ready for new guests. Guest experience is essential to us and we always do our best to keep our guests happy. I’ve just recently started my apprenticeship level 2 in housekeeping and so far I am really getting into it. Alongside this, I am doing Maths and English at GCSE.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I’m enjoying it very much.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I am slowly starting to learn new skills and get stuck in with my role. I have not been on the course long enough to say I have learned new skills at the moment, but I’m sure there is so much to learn.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My tutor at Lifetime Learning is really good. She seems like she knows what she is doing and has got so much help and advice, nothing seems too much for her.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I’m receiving support, but not a lot at the moment.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider at Lifetime Training is great. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
As I’ve only just started, I believe she will do everything in her power to help me succeed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We do have social activities for when we get rewards, it’s great for us all to get together as a team and have some fun.
