Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day-to-day role involves me fitting extraction/ ventilation for people doing hot works on the boat.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed slinging because that is what I want to do, but I feel the other roles are unnecessary because they don’t help me pass my course.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve improved many skills such as working with others, communication and showing initiative.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Not the best, it could be done better, but I understand that this is the first time this sort of thing has been made into an apprenticeship so I understand there are things still being worked out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I’d say the support is good but some things are lacking such as training because we are already a good bit into the apprenticeship with minimal training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I’d say the support is good, but as I said I am still waiting on training for one of the main roles of my apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
