I am a learning coach. I support and coach learners to achieve goals and standard within hospitality. Assess and give feedback. Follow policies and procedures set from ESFA and Quality.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My development journey has been insightful. I have received support during the first three months and then through Aptem from my two learning coaches.

My programme is tailored to me and my work diary. Great support and understanding from my coach.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager has regular 1-1s and gives me constant support every day. My coach supports with assessment and facilitating learning with gaps in my knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of support from coaches. I have been given sessions to support the wider curriculum too.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allows me to further identify reflection tools and better working practices through off-the-job opportunities. I am able to see blind spots and get regular feedback of progress within my role.

Information at the start can be overwhelming, however ask questions and build your apprenticeship network. Make use of Aptem and the tools it can provide. It is a good guide towards your apprenticeship.
