Tutoring a caseload of apprentices. Marking assignments. Supporting learners through gateway. Keeping up to date with technical knowledge. Creating learning resources. Collaborating with colleagues.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My tutor is amazing, always on hand if I need support. The content is relevant and challenging.

I have not only learned how to tutor and coach, but also improved my technical payroll and pensions knowledge.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course is well-structured, clear learning outcomes for each session, related to the standard and EPA. Detailed training plan setting out what will be covered and when.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been very suportive, providing resources, support from colleagues and manger support.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from my tutor. She has provided standard resources, adapted resources, additional sessions, and help on queries whenever I have needed them.

I have learned some invaluable skills throughout my apprenticeship that have made a real difference in how I support my own learners.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are team meetings / catch ups / wellbeing and social activities via Teams regularly (we all work remotely) and then we meet up a few times a year.
