Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role entails helping and learning from different teams in LRD whilst doing a year course in estate agency (level 2) on the side. I would attend meetings with different teams to improve my knowledge with what Savills do on a daily basis , speak to clients/ buyers, as well as be involved in the sales process with the sales team. I am involved with various projects with the consultancy and marketing team which allows me to see what tasks and challenges that they are given through my apprenticeship experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy the programme to the extent that it improves my skills as well as improve me as a person due to being comfortable to make a mistake and go on to learn and to excel.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed many different skills whilst I have been at Savills as the teams I am involved in allow me to go outside my comfort zone and allow me to improve whilst I go through my course. With the existing skills I had before starting my new role, Savills have allowed me to strengthen them whilst using the skills to benefit my team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme has a very structured process from which it allows me to learn in different areas/ different teams and improve my knowledge when I finish my course. With the work given to me at my office, it makes my course easier as I can use a scenario that I was put in to allow me to understand a certain topic.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive great support from my office and the teams that I am put in. If I don't understand a certain area they will take the time to explain it to me so that I am able to help the team or improve my knowledge for the future.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive great support from training provider as they give me feedback with my assignments and take the time to go through a topic in the course that I find challenging.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification helps me with my role as it allows me to understand certain laws or rules that Savills have to follow and what is happening within the property industry. Terms that are often used in the office are often used in my course which makes me confident to help the team and be involved in certain tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many extra-curricular activates to be involved in such as : Rugby, netball, football and many more. Savills often send emails out to get people involved with these activates to allow you to network and speak to people that you don't often meet on a daily basis.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
As its a place that helps you, teaches you and involves you with the company , even if you have just joined. There is so many opportunities in just one company and will put 100% effort towards you to make sure your experience is great.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
My main tip to people applying is to make sure that you embrace you as a person with every opportunity you get and allow the company to see how you as a character would improve Savills as well as what you would offer. My advice would be not to get nervous in interviews and take the opportunity to be yourself.
