Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Yes, being able to contribute outside of the day job, especially to the charity hackathon was unexpected but very enjoyable. It also gave me the chance to meet interns (virtually) in a non work / training environment.

What advice would you give to others applying to Royal Bank of Canada
Get to know what differentiates RBC from other banks. Also to learn how the Personal and Commerical banking division underpins other divisions within the bank.
Know your technicals but don't overwork trying to get these to be perfect - its an internship and the RBC'ers I met are much more interested in you as a person and how you build relationships.
