Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role involves insurance broking. Therefore, on a daily basis I am dealing with clients and underwriters to deliver risk transfer solutions for our clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
On the whole, I thoroughly enjoy my programme. The opportunity to meet with senior leaders is fantastic and the programmes overall structure is very effective in facilitating wider development and understanding.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a wide range of new skills:
Problem solving.
People Skills/Management.
Technical knowledge.
Critical Thinking.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well structured and incredibly well organised. The centralised team are always there to solve any problems and support you through the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am very well supported by my employer through both my line managers and the centralised programme team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Initially there was a lot of support however this has since reduced. However, for me this is not an issue as I feel I am able to work on the qualifications effectively and efficiently on my own.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The qualification is very useful in helping to build a more technical understanding of the industry. However, the skills and behaviours assignments that are set add very limited value to my development.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are numerous activities to get involved in through the different networks available within the organisation and within the wider Lloyd's Insurance network.
