Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Project management of ECO schemes. Managing contractors and delivery of energy efficient measures into eligible households. I work with contractors to resolve compliance fails and ensure the projects are completed within required timeframes
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
It's a great opportunity to study for a degree whilst working and the skills/behaviour/knowledge will help with my own development and hopefully career advancement

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, learned a lot more about PM techniques and methodologies and how to apply them to my role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It is fairly well organised, often the workshops/sessions can feel a little unstructured and unprepared so I find I am doing a lot of my own research too
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I get a lot of support from my line manager and senior managers in my area. I am allowed the time to work on my DA and support with managing my day-to-day activities.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We have the standard workshops and sessions but as previously stated, I feel I do a lot of the research for my assignments myself. My skills coach is very detailed though.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It will definitely help. My career goal is to be in a PM role within the next 2 years, so the skills/knowledge gained will definitely support this
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes - Lots of networks around diversity & inclusion as well as professional and personal networking events
