The daily running of flight simulators, maintain and keeping them ready for flight training.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the training at work as you learn along with the team, other parts are a bit tedious.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have been able to understand new techniques surrounding software and mechanical aspects of the job.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure at the work place is very well organised, on day release it is just something everyone is guessing and trying to figure out so no structure or organisation.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer are extremely caring and will help you find the right support, if you are struggling with something, they never like to see you fail.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not a great amount, it is rather hit and miss as the training provider do not know what we need to learn and are quite lazy about teaching us the things that are relevant.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have not seen any connections, from the training via our actual work. No similarity's or structure of what is needed from our qualification.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Stem events when I can, I have also attended a few career, events and air shows to represent the company.

Would you recommend Boeing UK to a friend?

Yes

Why?

Because it is a very different job which people do not know enough about. And there is a shortage of people for this job as no one knows enough about it.
