Advisor on seasonal. Filing stock, customer service, answering phones, general cleaning click and collect service.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was quite enjoyable. Easy to juggle home work and learning. Although sometimes I did feel some stress in needing to complete work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed lots of skills using the gun for stock. I've also refreshed my knowledge in some areas.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was very good. My trainer was always on hand to answer questions.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Plenty of support. I spent time asking colleagues about questions I needed to answer. I also learnt via our intranet.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Loads of support from Louise. She was amazing always making sure I was ok and if I had any questions or needed help she was there.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It's great knowing I have some extra knowledge other colleagues mat not have. So I'll be able to help when needed. And if I want to progress further I can

Not many. Occasional nights out as a team few and far between.

It's not just a dead-end retail job. You have the chance to progress and learn to further a career rather than just a job.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to B&Q?
Be yourself. B&Q are very inclusive and supportive of home/work balance. If you want to go further in your job role they have loads of opportunities to do that.
