Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Assisting directors on a wide variety of projects and development types. Supporting clients to meet planning needs including: writing appraisals and planning statements, collating consultant reports, reviewing and monitoring local plans and policies, researching various aspects of the planning system. Every day is different.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the variety of work. I enjoy spending time with my colleagues. I enjoy applying what i have lernt at university to real-life projects at work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Project management.
Organisation and time keeping.
Stakeholder communication and management.
Communication via emails, phone calls, online meetings and in person meetings.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

How much support do you receive from your employer?

Plenty of support from the graduate team, including training days and events. Less direct support from my immediate team in regards to my degree. I always have someone to ask or speak to should there be an issue.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Administrative support is poor. Apprenticeship support is poor (I haven't had communications with the LSBU apprenticeship team since first week).
Support from our course leader is much better.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
