Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My team sells/buys/swaps portfolios of affordable housing. Day to day I help prepare marketing reports and proposals for tenders. I also partake in doing due diligence for portfolios.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It’s a great mix of learning on the job with experience in a workplace as well as being able to gain a degree to help in the future. Everyone in my team and in Savills have been great and very encouraging and always looking to help you if you need it.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills. These mainly form around people skills and talking to clients on calls and general confidence. My excel skills have also improved significantly.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised. I work 4 days a week in the office and have one day of studying. But this is very flexible and it isn’t a set day.
They provide lots of events that you can attend that will help you towards your 20% off the job training.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I know if I was ever struggling or needed help with something that I could always go up to someone in my team who would be more than happy to help.

They have multiple drop in sessions if you don’t get something and extra guidance when assessments are near.

A lot of the information provided helps you gain a better grasp of what it is your doing in your job.
