Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I assist the team getting Key data that will be used in Consultancy for clients, create availability sheets of different submarkets and personally do a monthly Newsletter that keeps the team aware of what is going on in the Commercial property industry.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot as this is a new area of property I am being exposed to. Overtime, once I have the knowledge more cemented I will be able to enjoy my role more and be a bigger asset to my team.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt loads. For example, I have grown my confidence with data coding and using excel, I have got better with speaking to clients and I have learnt ways of showcasing key info through constructing infographics.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is structured very well. There is always a point of call you can go to and get support on anything you need within the business. Even the University I attend with my job have so many resources that can help me flourish in my studies and show deadlines clearly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive loads of support from my employer. Within my team I have someone who helps me if I feel unsure about referencing in my assignment and if I am feeling okay with the workload. I am well aware of who to contact if things were looking not as positive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I get all the support I need. I am more independent so I usually am okay by myself or my team. However, my AOO is only a call or email away if I was ever in a position where I needed immediate support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps a lot especially with the Law side of my course. When it comes to brokerage work there is contracts involved and learning about all the technicalities helps me understand what I am reading and help the client if they have any questions around it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is so many extra-curricular activities to be involved in. For example, I am signed up as a mentor for Career Ready which helps younger students get ready for the working world and build their confidence up.

It is a company that really cares about the people that work within it and everyone is always there to help you develop and grow within your role. It is full of different divisions which allows you to experience so many different areas of the business.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
The website has all the information you need. Learn about the company and understand the role you are going for. Bring your confidence, hunger for development and work on your Networking skills. That will be key in all stages.
