My role involves managing a team with in the client services business area. This involves managing people and their workloads.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about managing people, coaching and how to support people. My computer skills have also improved . On my apprenticeship I have learnt lots about strategy.

The structure of the course is well organised, although the induction into the grad programme could be improved.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

RSA is a great employer and always willing to support on anything you ask for help with.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The workshops are very structured, and you can always reach out to anyone at QA for support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have only undertaken one module so far but I think this will help me perform better throughout my future career, especially if I were to progress into senior leadership.

There are always lots of events that you can attend at RSA, whether that be virtually or not. The grad programme hosts many of these and there are other opportunities within the departments too.

To do some research into insurance and RSA's background and their values - as they hold these strongly.
