Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight Programme involved a mix of group and individual tasks. The individual tasks focused on career and personal development, such as considering our ideal graduate role based on our interests and skills. The group tasks involved one task focused on each industry sector, including a line dismantlement project for the Infrastructure Services task.
There were also interesting and informative talks each day on the different industry sectors as well as information on the APC.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The Insight Programme gives participants an excellent opportunity to learn about Fisher German as a business as well as learning about potential roles that are available to graduates. The varied talks throughout the week give a great insight into the work Fisher German does. There were also many opportunities to ask questions about the business as well as information on the different roles available.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The general atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. All of the contributors from Fisher German were more than happy to give their time to answer any questions you may have. The company culture was supportive and personable, but also energetic and knowledgeable.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed participating in the Insight Programme and having the opportunity to explore so many different industry sectors during the week. The week was well structured, meaning we were able to attend talks, improving our knowledge of the day-to-day tasks of Surveyors. However, we were also able to undertake some of these tasks ourselves and gain a great insight into the work Surveyors do within the different industry sectors.
