Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Several presentation and talks were organised with employees working in a variety of sectors across the industry to give an overview of the variety of work surveyors do. These talks also contained briefs for group tasks that were completed with other members of the insight programme throughout the week
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I increased my knowledge and understanding of Fisher German's business throughout the week. I got a very clear picture of the roles available and the process through which they recruit graduates.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I increased my commercial awareness of the the variety of work available in different sectors of the property industry. In addition to this, I also developed my teamworking skills through completing a number of group tasks throughout the week.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Even though it was a virtual programme it was a great atmosphere. The work we had to do throughout the week was very clearly presented and the buddy support system was very a very useful point of contact for queries I had.

To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
I really enjoyed this virtual experience. Working in different groups throughout the week was a really good way of connecting with other members of the programme and the variety of tasks set meant I got a really good flavour of some of the day to day work surveyors do across a variety of sectors.
