Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

every day i would come in and open up the warehouse then do a walk through to make sure everything is all good then i will get given a picking list to pick out kitchens, doors, floors and hardware ect.
then i will make sure the ware house is clean and safe

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i have very much enjoyed my time with howdens it has helped with my mental and physical health were before i worked her i struggled with bad social anxiety were howdens has help me come out of my shell a lot more and helped me feel more comfortable meeting new people

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt many of new skills such as time keeping and learning about all the different tools and martials that come with the joinery trade and i have learned hoe to comuacate within a team basis witch will help through my career and help me through life and every day tasks

How well organised/structured is your programme?

i would say its well organised as am learning new things every day and compared to other programmes i am getting a lot more responsibility's witch i think is good because in other programmes they are getting taught how to do things but are not trusted to do it on there own

How much support do you receive from your employer?

i would get alot of support from my employer epically when am stuck and they always make me feel like i can ask questions and even if i mis up they are there how to show me to do it instead of shouting at me for messing up witch helps

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i have not as of yet started my qualification as am still learing my way around the ware house but from the way they have helped me with the warehouse i would say they will be very helpful

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i would say it will give me help and more experience within my jobe role witch will help me better myself through my career

i have heard there are go karts teams with you get given chances to qualifiy for the teams

i have never met a better company that looks so well after there staff and gives everyone chances to evlove through there job role and careers with i think is brillinet because it make eveyone want to come to work to better themselves
