Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As I am an apprentice I am learning, and slowly progressing. I am being taught how to use all the platforms, the procedures and the daily tasks. I have my own accounts that I deal with, with help from colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme. Within my company there is progression if you work for it, I feel very supported within my role. I enjoy the responsibility you are given within the accounts. Colleagues don't make you feel like you're an apprentice due to support and effort made.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new IT skills with different platforms, which I wouldn't have used/known before. I also now have new professional communication skills, which I use when speaking to colleagues and clients (new terminology and ways of writing emails...)
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have a training programme in place which sets out what I am going to be taught, when and who by. My team are very proactive when training me. We also have a table which shows when we are going to be in the office so we can plan when we can work together.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel very supported. One thing I really like is that there doesn't feel like a hierarchy within my department when needing support or having questions. We all sit together (hot desks) so everyone mixes with everyone, which creates and open work environment.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I think there could be more lessons. I definitely wasn't expecting to have this little teaching/support. We have 3 x 2.5 hour lessons for a whole text book and exam, which I don't think is enough. Considering we don't have any background knowledge I feel like more support/teaching would make a positive difference.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

You are learning about your role within the exams/books. The principles I learn about I do within my day to day job so it does make a difference. Gaining the qualification will also result in being respected within the industry for having the recognised knowledge, which results in being trusted with business and decisions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

None that I know of. Although I am in the UK WTW I&D team.

Yes
Why?
WTW is a globally recognised and respected company. There is progression and support within the company. Working for WTW, gaining my qualification and gaining knowledge will lead to many doors being opened in the future.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
-be prepared for a long interview progress
-make sure this is a career path you're definitely interested in, as it is a lot of hard work work and extra hours out side of work to get to where you want to be.
