Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

This placement involves applying a variety of skills, including general business acumen and ExCel. The majority of the work has had me assist the sales team in the early sales stages, such as acquiring contacts and initiating the sales process. I have also had the opportunity to understand Adobe's other related departments and its products in great detail.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I have been given a solid mix of individual and team responsibility, being assigned tasks that I feel very much in control of and have helped me to stay motivated to work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learned skills in sales, in particular by understanding the journey of a sale, creating pipe and demand. I have also been able to learn about Adobe's powerful products that are extremely relevant for the digital world. Working with Adobe's marketing tools has also helped me to build my understanding of digital marketing to a much greater extent.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

My manager has been my main source of support and they've been great at that, however the rest of my team have been incredibly welcoming, inclusive and supportive, making it a pleasure to work alongside them.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is known to be very diverse and inclusive, being some of Adobe's core goals. Everyone is friendly and always up for a chat about anything. The workplace is fantastic at the Shoreditch office.
