Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
No day is the same. Great variety of experiences gained while at Savills. Mixture of in the office and out on-site managing/checking up on projects.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Love working at Savills. It really is a great place to work, with so much support. Both my team and wider division are good fun both in and outside of work and always happy to assist with any queries.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Many skills learnt, both daily in the work place, but also through training provided internally at Savills. Training courses and lunch and learn talk are always provided and am always encouraged to attend.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Savills are now well experienced with the apprenticeship route that offer. With a variety of apprentices of differing levels and durations. The HR training support is there if and when required, but team members are normally the first port of call for ease.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Almost too much, everyone is always very helpful and supportive, both with work and my studies. It is clear my team especially want me to do well, so support where they can. Never feel i cannot ask a question.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Again lots, I use less support from my training provider as Savills have a well established set up and I already receive sufficient support when required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Sometimes it is hard to study, as i already know what is relevant to my day to day job, unlike university students. Some module assist, but other I question why I have to do them, but understand they my become relevant later on in my career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, Savills is very sociable, and all apprentices are encourage to involve themselves with Grad events, as i do. Savills now has an apprentice committee, in the hope of creating an apprentice community, in turn bringing the apprentices together, providing support when required.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because Savills is the leading real estate firm, with the best professionals within the sector providing me with support. Speaking with people in a similar position, it seems the support and training at Savills is next to none.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
Would highly recommend any opportunity you are given, degree apprenticeships are a really great way to start your career and should be snapped up. Savills is great fun and the work and buildings you are exposed to are amazing.
