Assistant manager - supporting with the day to day running of the business, ordering, admin, supporting and training new team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

At times I have felt demotivated, however once checking in with my learning mentor I feel as though I’m more ahead than I realised. The course content is enjoyable and easy to understand and put in to practise.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I’ve learnt administration skills, understanding of p&l, skills in coaching new and existing employees.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It’s well organised. I’m looking forward to the move over to Aptem, as I find having multiple logins on different platforms confusing.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a bit of support from my GM. He’s pleased I’m doing well and if I have questions he will answer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I’ve had great support from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]. I can’t fault him. He’s motivating, gives information in bite sized chunks, responds promptly to emails.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I’ve been performing much better within the team, my awareness is much improved.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
