Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked in the Multi Asset Risk System team, with both design and implementation responsibilities. I designed and implemented an improvement of an existing feature, which involved a very interesting challenge.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Definitely. I made design choices about a feature and a service that is going to be used by teams all across Bloomberg. Nonetheless, I had all the support I needed to make such choices, so I never felt overwhelmed.
