Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an apprentice, it is our role to learn new tasks whilst also giving great customer service. This can either be on till or helping them with their enquiries on the shop floor. You learn lots of new skills and then you’re given a chance to put them into practice.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I absolutely love my programme and I’m so sad that it’s coming to an end.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Through my time as an apprentice, I have learnt so many new skills. Firstly I’ve become more confident in myself with the help of my colleagues, management and assessor. I have learnt more about customer service and how to ensure that they have a good experience l.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The organisation of this programme is amazing. I am not the most organised and structured person myself so this programme has given me a bit of structure whilst being a lot of fun.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I cannot even explain how grateful I am to my employer. They’ve given me an immense amount of support throughout my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has also supported me a huge amounts during my programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As I have learnt so many more things about the programme and retail in general, I feel so much more confident whenever partaking my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At my workplace, because we all get along so well, we tend to go out and do social activities at least once a month.

I have honestly enjoyed this programme so much and the company itself plays a huge role in that.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savers?
The main piece of advice I’d give to others applying is that you should just believe in yourself and the company and programme will help you with everything else.
