Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I carry out basic training to help me gain basic skills like hand fitting and assembly’s. This will help me when I go further into the business. I have a balance of workshop time and classroom time both very important and beneficial.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy the course. I like doing assembly’s the most as i think it’s key for my job in the future

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Hand tools like hacksawing, filing and tapping. I have learnt how to methodically de assemble components.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very good to an extent. Every thing we need is there however the communication between the company and apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a good amount of support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of support from tutors as we don’t see our skills coaches that often
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps show us all the basics which we can then build upon in the future
