I have learned multiple skills during my time here. Skills such as communication, hand skills, the attitude to never give up and always work hard to achieve the goals I set when i started the year

Structure and Support

4/5
It was structured in a good manner. Due to COVID we had a lot of online learning which was really difficult some of the times but the Academy sorted out good plans in place for us to get us through tough times.

I got very good support to help me get through this course. All necessary training was put in place to develop and understand the content in a mannerly way.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand the different systems and safety features within the aircraft before going into a live environment.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
I was involved within a council for Apprentices. There are not any extra-curricular activities within the company to get involved in.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a really good company in terms of helping you get through the qualifications and the course.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
BAE systems is one of the worlds leading company to work with. The application process is quite difficult but once you are through the door the world is yours in terms of different pathways you can follow. It is a hard course to get through especially with the intensity of exams, so my advice would be to work really hard the first year and it would become easier the next.
