Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work in HR Operations supporting Contracting so my role is quite varied. On a typical day, I will track our vacancies in my business area, track absences, have a range of case work and generally the operational staff support.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying the programme - every one is really friendly and always wanting to help.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of new skills/knowledge mainly around policies and procedures and how to approach different situations. It has enabled me to develop existing skills such as communication.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured, I have a good variety of exposure to the business to enhance my experience.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer - everyone is always willing to help you.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have only recently started my CIPD so it is hard to say at the moment. But so far, it has been really positive.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think that the qualification will provide me with the knowledge when it comes to overcoming different situations and help put my learning into practice.
