Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am an operations manager. I open/close the store make sure daily routines are done. on top of store safety. colleague welfare. setting tasks. keeping in line with company policies.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was good, learnt a lot on the courses going out of store. It was hard to fit in the work. ended up doing alot of it at home.

Very organised. hard to balance my day job and doing the course work along side my job.

Not very much, felt more like a hindrance at times. especially when it came to manager reviews.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor was very patient. I wasn't always on time and at times felt over whelmed as i got behind on work. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] broke it all down and gave me the work in sections with out her I would not have competed the course.

Would you recommend Wickes PLC to a friend?

Yes

Why?

Depends what you want from wickes. The pay is not great for what you have to do. similar roles in supermarkets etc that pays more but if you need a flexible job to fit around school or a 1st job its a good place
