Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is a strategy insight and data analyst. I work for the collections department where i review/improve the strategy for dealing with customers who have missed their payments or are dealing with financial stress. I produce regular reporting on the performance of our strategy and the call agents who deal with those customers. I also help implement new methods of communication with our customers and help with project management .
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
My programme is very enjoyable as no day is the same. I am encouraged by my organisation to develop my skills and to further my potential as an employee. I enjoy the diversity and inclusion that my organisation encourages. I also enjoy being able to think creatively and have my ideas be listened to without fear of scrutiny.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many new skills, specifically with I.T packages.
My department heavily uses Microsoft SQL, which is something i had zero experience with before starting my role. I now am able to work with SQL and product data, which i later analyse using Microsoft excel. My excel skills are continuously developing as i use/learn more advanced formulas. I have also developed my project management skills by actively being involved in the business projects my department have and have even began working on my own individual projects.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is very well organised. The apprenticeship provider has set out times frames and goal objectives that i find are fair while still challenging. My organisation also allocates me enough time to complete my coursework and regularly checks in with my progress. I have regular 1-2-1's with my assessor, which helps me to keep on track or discuss any concerns i have.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer gives me a high standard of support. I was provided early on with contacts for if i had any concerns or felt pressure. My line manager is in regular contact with my assessor to ensure they are informed of my progress. I am also given achievable goals by my organisation and have regular catch up with my line manager to work through my personal development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider is in constant communication with me, which helps me feel supported.
I am given regular updates/1-2-1's to help me progress towards the end goal of completing my apprenticeship. I'm given adequate education through monthly workshops with my training provider and have been given smart targets to work towards. I have contact details for the safeguarding department, should i feel i need them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification is a business administration qualification. I feel this is an accurate and relevant qualification for the job role i have. It helps me with understanding how my organisation functions as a business and encourages me to use my learnings in my practice. For example, my qualification teaches me about stakeholders which we communicate with regularly in my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are an abundance of extra activities for me to get involved in within my organisation. I am only halfway through my apprenticeship and i have already joined two internal teams within my organisation. These teams are voluntary roles for me to further develop my career and provide me with extra skills, which i can use to make me stand out for future job applications
