Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
A series of zoom meetings with different representatives from the company cam in to talk to us about the company and the BCS department. We also had panels and q&a sessions, as well as mini trainings and a sims activity. There was a lot of collaboration between interns and we worked together on a presentation.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was extremely enlightening. I was not aware of the potential to grow within Bloomberg and how much learning and up-skilling opportunities there are. This is something very unique to Bloomberg and I can certainly see why everyone strives to work here.

Developed soft skills - relations with customers.
Enhanced team working skills.
I am a more introverted person so I was constantly stepping out of my comfort zone to participate in all activities, hence I developed my communication and speaker skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Absolutely the best. I have not seen such collaborative spirit anywhere else and for me this is the most attractive concept of Bloomberg.

Show motivation to grow and learn as much as possible. It does not matter how much you know currently, Bloomberg will provide you with all the resources, you just have to convince them that you care enough.
