Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a night supervisor on the residential unit.
I start by having handover and making sure I’m up to date on all residents needs/health changes etc
I then administer night medication.
After I work on the floor with my care staff providing care to the residents
I also deal with any emergency situation that arise

I thinks it’s organised well around my hone and work life. It’s not pressuring or too full on

Since starting my course we have had change of management and it’s been during the pandemic/lockdown which has made it a bit more difficult to involve them in my course

I have received a lot of support from my assessor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] she has always been very understanding and helpful
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps me renew what I already know and teaches me things I didn’t. It also helps build my confidence
