To what extent did you enjoy your virtual experience?
5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it helped me to decide on a career path within Finance and understand the requirements for a role within SJP. Because it was virtual, online quizzes, polls and Q&A sessions were used to make the sessions interactive.
A Certificate of completion was also provided.
How well organised was your virtual experience?
5/5
It was very well organised and a timetable was provided ahead of the session. Programme set during school/college holidays and lasted approx. 4 hours each day. Sufficient breaks were provided as well.
Induction and technical support were also provided in case there were any mishaps/issues due to being online.
How much did your virtual experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
5/5
Thorough insight into Financial Services Industry, learned about many roles and careers within Finance, from Accounting to Financial Crime, to Investment Management. In each session we were given the opportunity to ask questions about a certain career, e.g. what employees enjoyed the most and what their day to day role consisted of.
Were you paid or reimbursed for this experience?
1/5
No. This was a virtual work experience and not a paid placement, so I was not paid for completing the three day St James Place Wealth Management Virtual Work Experience Week.
However, we were provided with a certificate that we could put on LinkedIn for future reference or to put on CVs.

Skills Development

What training and skills development did you learn from your virtual experience?
