Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily tasks include supporting the team with the multiple projects occurring. Helping with the design and concepts of projects. Along with helping out with the logistics to ensure the projects can continue with smooth progression.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a bit of responsibility however majority of the time I was working with a member of the team. So not specifically any project that i was able to own as I was only here for 6 weeks.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I believe i have developed alot with my project management skills whilst being here and communication as I had to work closely with different regions in order to monitor and ensure that samples were given on time.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I was given a lot of support as my mentor was very caring and ensure that I was doing okay, and gave me a lot of guidance regarding getting up to scratch with the different projects.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture was very good, however since it was all online it was hard to have any specific social events. Hopefully I will be able to attend one of the events face to face to properly meet the team

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed the team and the different project. I would definitely go back to working with the team. As it was only 6 weeks I couldn't get fully into a project but from my exposure to the different project. It would be something id be interested in.
