Start of day ,making sure team prepared and ready for opening,stock sufficient.Making sure customer satisfaction and staff happy throughout the shift.Learning more about the business behind the scenes.

My GM put me forward for my apprenticeship which was great knowing she believed in me.The support has been there as much as can be with the pandemic and being in lockdown.

Absolutely 100% I couldn’t have asked for anymore from my tutor.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I’ve learnt so much and feel this will benefit not only me but others that I will be able to help with me reaching my goal of running my own pub and helping them reach their potential in their careers.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a quiz night once a month which staff get involved in with customers.We also socialise out side work with shows,meals etc as we are a very close team.

The company had been fantastic throughout the covid and lockdown situation.There are good opportunities and Greene King encourage you to better yourself to full potential.

Go for it ! Think about your present and future and what you want to do with it ,how far do you want to go ? They will help you to achieve it and help you to make it possible.
