Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day to day basis, I create or update key reports for the team use whilst completing admin tasks too. I also look at performance data through numerous programmes to see how the team or certain category is performing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is very interesting and ties in well with what I do in my day to day role. I have learnt a lot already and the training provider, gives you so much support.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I started my Apprenticeship Virtually, so one of the biggest skills I developed was confidence. My role has also helped me improve my time management and problem solving skills, especially when looking at lots of data.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of the programme works really well, you have a monthly learning session and then serval weeks to complete assignments or tasks. Also having the 20% off the job, is really helpful as it allows you take time away from your role and focus on your learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Unilever are great at providing support. I have my Line manager who I can always go to and is so happy to help with anything. We also receive support from our wider team and there is always someone you can talk to within the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider also provide a lot of support, especially our coaches who will always check in with how we are doing. There is a great relationship between the training provider coaches and line managers, so you feel well supported always.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The learning sessions done by the provider teach you so much about the business and the theory around it. In the coaching sessions this is where you work on skills like improving your confidence or learning the best ways to time manage, all helping towards your role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is lots of activities you can get involved in and is a great way to network. As part of the apprenticeship you get placed in group like the outreach programme, where you will do some stuff outside of your role.

Why?
Unilever is exceptional company to work for, with so much care and commitment to there employees, even when you are brand new to the working world. You are always learning so much and there is so many opportunities to try new things or meet new people.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
My tips would be to really research what Unilever is about and there values and just to be yourself throughout the whole process.
