Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is to answer incoming calls from customers. The calls can vary, I get renewals, cancellations, mid term amendments and quote calls. I also get complaints that we need to log on a system called cms.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy it. It’s something I have never done before and I learn something new everyday. The support is amazing too, if I need help I feel like I can ask anyone and they will help me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Communication skills. Listening skills. Studying for my foundation insurance exam. Dealing with complaints.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It’s really good. If I need help I know who to ask and they will get back to me as soon as they can.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support. Most of the time I know the answers that customers query. If I do get stuck on anything I either ask one of my team members or my team leader and they help me as best as they can.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
A lot of support. We have a catchup every month to see how it’s going and if I need any help I can always ask.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It helps me improve a lot. Most of the job is in my foundation qualification book so the more I read and learn about that, the better and easier the job is to do on a day to day basis.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have a team day out where we raise money for charity. We have team meetings every week so we can all have a catch up.
