Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
- Online internship so the internship was adapted.
- Worked in groups of interns (mix of analysts, marketing & business management) with different problem statements proposed to the groups
- Worked on these projects for 5 weeks before delivering our research and recommendations in a report and then presentation to stakeholders.
- Working independently in groups so you essentially decide what work you do
- General sessions put on alongside this

The projects were independent with some guidance from mentors so there was a lot of responsibility on this internship

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Learnt how to work online via teams and gained a lot of knowledge on our project topic however didn't receive any training in marketing skills such SEO, digital marketing, Google or Facebook ads (may of been due to the project)

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Taking into account that the internship was unable to go ahead in real life, I feel Centrica gave a good effort in trying to still create a meaningful internship. Initially A very isolating experience working online and joining a new company but the group format allowed good friendships to develop and it became more enjoyable, the reports & presentation gave a sense of achievement
