To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
The online and physical learning materials and website is very good. The content is well structured and easy to read.
The back office admin is the area that could do with a little improvement.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
In house tuition and mentoring is always available.
I've been given exposure to real world examples and reporting requirements that marry up to the syllabus content which makes learning far easier.
Overall very happy with the process so far.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
I can't fault the attitude, abilities and knowledge of the tutors.
My current talent coach is also excellent. She is very proactive and supportive.
The only area of improvement relates to the back office admin which I've found to be a bit less slick.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
The learning materials clearly set out and explain the requirements of different aspects of tax legislation, and provide worked examples of how to apply the legislation. I am then seeing real world instances at work where I am able to put the theory into practice.
I'm also able to contribute to calls and discussions and say "the legislation says X, which means Y impact for us".
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Since we all began working from home and being socially distanced we've made use of Microsoft Teams and Strava to set up virtual events including quizzes and outdoor activities.
This has been enjoyable and beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing.
