Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
This also includes the recruitment of delegates for course though communicating with stakeholders, administering the course details and ensuring full end to end journey for learners.
Training is delivered in a face-to-face environment using specialist IT equipment as well as delivering training off-site for those who require this.
I am also continuously involved in CPD for myself and others, ensuring a continuing program of development.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
This includes managing course expectations and setting the tone. Through using existing course material, but adding in a more detailed control and narrative to the delivery, learners have been able to respond more effectively to the demands of the course. This includes expectations around content, timings and ongoing support.
I've also learned more about learning theory covering knowledge loss, learning styles, social dynamics and learning transfer.
While not directly practiced in my core role, I have learned about pre-course theory too. This covers Learning Needs Analysis, remote training solutions, looking at return on investment and measuring impact.
