Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the insight week you get to know the departments within Bloomberg, how they work and how a typical day is structured. You also have the opportunity to meet employees from the different departments, who are always available to answer any questions or clarifications.
There are also lots of fun and educational challenges, group work and team challenges.
In conclusion, it is an opportunity to find out if Bloomberg is really for you, while you discover, enjoy and meet people from all over the world in a friendly environment.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Not only was the Bloomberg team available to us at all times throughout the week, but we also had the opportunity to meet some of the previous year's insighters who gave us even more insight into their experience from a point of view extremely close to mine.
In conclusion, at the end of the week, I have a clear view of which departments at Bloomberg I would like to work in and which skills I need to excel.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
During the week we had access to the Bloomebrg Terminal, thanks to the numerous explanations by the Bloomberg team and the proposed challenges, I learned how to use the main functions of the terminal.
We were also given access to the Bloomberg Market Concept, thanks to which I was able to consolidate my knowledge of finance.
Finally, I found the group project in which the insighters participate throughout the week extremely interesting and educational.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Bloomberg is known for having a strong corporate culture. I absolutely cannot say otherwise. The employees I met were not only always helpful but also told us about their personal experiences and shared with us some of the activities that are offered to employees.
In addition, you can participate in countless activities with Bloomberg Philanthropy.
In conclusion, from my experience in this insight week I can say that it is an educational, exciting, collaborative and fun working environment.

I would say immerse yourself in the experience 100%, ask as many questions as possible, get to know each other and build relationships. I would say don't worry and put your best foot forward because the week goes by faster than you think.
