Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I attended sessions and presentations about the various teams, the ins and outs of the work they do, including the software and functions they use, different job roles. I had access to the famous Bloomberg Terminal and got to explore using it through demos, simulation tasks, and during a group project. We had plenty of opportunities to ask lots of questions to the presenters and panelists. A truly fantastic and insightful experience!
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I learned so much about the different teams, functions and job roles! I didn't expect to learn as much as I did, not did I expect the presentations and sessions to be as in-depth and detailed as they were. All of the sessions were incredibly informative. It made me all the more keen and hopeful to be offered an interview for an internship or a full time role! Would love to work there.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Every single person who we met from the company was really helpful and informative, and they genuinely seem to be happy to be working there. There was enough emphasis from employees on them collaborative culture at Bloomberg, which has made the possibility of working there all the more attractive!

Do as much research as you can on Bloomberg, its functions, services and products - the company offers so much! You need to be able to demonstrate this during the application process/interview.
