Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was given a project by a client and I spent my internship working on it. It involved a lot of research and some programming.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I had a bit of responsibility. The project that I was working on was relevant to what the client was doing, and I often had to feedback and report on how it was going and what I had found. I was mostly working independently but I could always ask members of my team for any help as needed.

I have learnt a lot of new skills. I have learn how to use various tools and software to help with programming and organisation. I have learn programming techniques. I have developed communication and client interaction skills.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot. My manager and team were always happy to help when I asked for it and I would have weekly catch ups with my client and daily catchups with my manager

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The year of my internship was a covid year, so I din't get to go into the office too much. When I did go in there was a good atmosphere though. There was also fortnightly catchups with the future talent team just to talk about how everything was going. There were also some socials and events e.g. capture the flag
