Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Aircraft engineer- Following completion of the theory side of the course, it was on the job training. A task book containing various tasks, component location and servicing of systems, needed to be filled out under supervision, before the final exams and assessments commenced.

Structural assembly and repair of sheet metal and composites.
