My current role is focusing on improving the PAYG experience for our customers. This covers a wide range of activities from process improvements to large scale projects. My main objectives are to improve the business NPS, our commercial value and implement cost effective processes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i have thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience. I like that the Babington online information is easily accessible and i can always revisit if needed. My tutor is very engaging and is always on hand for support if i need anything at all.
I havent enjoyed entering the off the job information on onefile but i take some responsibility as its a boring task to complete so i put it off.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Throughout the course, i have learnt so much about the logistics of project management and within my role i have implemented some of these. Not only does the course explain how to manage a project and the expected lifecycle of one, but it also goes into detail on managing people within a project team. I used some of the skills in my role currently without realising and it has helped me in dealing with my internal stakeholders as i am more aware of how change can impact them

I feel it has been very structured and organised. I was provided with a timeline of events at the start and my tutor revisits this with me on a monthly basis.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager has been excellent! I try to dedicate a full day a week to my learning. Some weeks i havent been able to commit due to my workload but ive easily managed to catch up. I am lucky as my role relies on my planning my own time

My tutor has been amazing and can easily answer any questions or concerns i have.
The infotmation is always available on Babington online so i can revisit if need be.

My role involves small to large scale projects so everything i have learnt i have been able to put into practice in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. My company focuses heavily on wellbeing and charity events. Prior to the pandemic, there were business football teams who used to compete. I participated in the UK 3 peaks challenge for Alzheimers. Now though, alot of the social activities are online and are promoted in our online work channels.
