Currently I'm studying Computer Science at UoB so my day-yo-day life is like any other student as I haven't had any placements at this moment.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There are ups and downs but overall, as someone new to CS, I am enjoying the course

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The course has taught me a variety of skills and really challenged me; I've learnt how to be more independent with my work, how to persevere and problem solve and how to really motivate myself. I've also began building the foundations of my programming skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It depends on which module; some lecturers are incredibly meticulous and consistent with the standard of content they give us but others are a bit all over the place and I believe this is largely due to the pandemic with many lecturers initially struggling to adapt to online learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I haven't had to ask for any but they keep in regular contact so it feels like I could always ask themany questions I may have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Assuming training provider is the uni for second semester I feel it's a great balance of independent and guided learning but first semester felt very different with lecturers and students alike still transitioning to online learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
