Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am sponsored through university, so I just complete university work, however during the summer we had a summer placement which involved learning agile development, creating scrum sessions, meeting and working with new teams and implementing a ticket tracking system to measure the workflow of the team
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I very much enjoy it.. knowing I have job security at the end of the placement is amazing and I’ve met some really nice people through it! It feels like I am part of a family

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I’ve developed my skill of meeting new people.
Increased my skill working out how a company works
Increased my development skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Unlike other digital apprenticeships we managed to get a summer placement virtually which is down to the well structured placenta.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
We get meetings every term and during the placement we received a lot of support. It would be nice to have a bit more communication such as a chat room that we can all speak on
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Not such support through Vodafone itself but through university quite a lot.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Quite a lot however we learn a lot about coding and I don’t see myself doing coding in the long run at Vodafone
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
We never got the chance to experience these due to COVID-19
