I have developed my knowledge of aircraft and my ability to fix aircraft including all of the skills involved in aircraft maintenance. When on placement I will be able to gain skills working in teams.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
We have a lot of skills coaches and lots of infrastructure in place to make sure we always have something to do
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There are various ways of getting support and ways of talking to people if I were to experience any issues. There is even a BAE apprentice instagram

4/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Gaining hands on experience prior to actually going into the role is hugely beneficial compared to going to university where the work is mainly theoretical. Also having your salary linked to your performance is sure to make you work harder at things you arent so good at

3/5
Currently difficult due to the COVID19 situation

Yes
Why?
They have a huge support network in place, offer very good courses and a good salary
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
make sure to not just go straight into the quiz, look online to see if you can find any practice. Also make sure for your interview you have things that you have done lined up as well as things you can ask the interviewer
