I am a Team Leader, this involves leading FOH shifts, dealing with any guest queries or complaints, cash handovers and cashing up at end of day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed the process, although I have struggled with motivation, due to the lockdown and suffering with ADHD has made it a challenge.

I have learned quite an array of new skills whilst continuing to hone the skills I have already cultivated.

As much as I need, I can contact [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] during working hours with ease. She has been very understanding, and accommodating to my (at times erratic) behaviour.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Whilst a large amount of it is things I have already covered, because of the specificity of the course there are new ways to look at certain aspects of the course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have personal relationships with a few members of staff, including close family friends, aswell as great working relationships with all (not perfect always but overridingly positive overall) of the staff.

Yes
Why?
I have a good discount if you come with ;) Jokes aside, GK offers great products at usually great (brand dependant) prices. I haven't had a bad GK experience and I've been in many!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
Be positive, work hard and be as open as you can! Have fun and laugh regularly, regardless of how stressed you may be, the next dead shift is round the corner ??
