Key design/ construction knowledge and software skills have been learnt at Savills. Revit, AutoCAD, V-ray, Adobe suite. I am provided with huge amounts of shadowing and mentoring.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Savills have an extremely well organized and structured programme. Every week there is an apprentice webinar which is a great opportunity to connect with peers at the same level as me. Although I have an apprentice title, I am treated as a respected member of staff, by all at Savills

5/5
I receive excellent support by all at Savills, from my directors to members of staff from other departments. I am always supported and feel connected, which has been essential during this working from home period.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I am training at London South Bank Uni, overall the support is good. During times of stress the university lack support to all 90 architecture students.
They are actively trying to resolve this problem.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel the things I learn at work benefit my collage work and the things I learn at college benefit my company work. There is a great balance between work and uni.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, Savills provide a number of interesting and exciting extra curricular activities. From site visits to CPD's. I especially enjoy the networking events. Savills encourage professional subscriptions, I am part of the BCO NextGen network.
