Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
Communicating with other members of the team whether that be co-workers, coaches or mangers ect.
Attending online lectures and studying for a degree in aerospace engineering at college.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Everyone is friendly and helpful and willing to help if you require it.
There is a large support network in place which makes the company culture very pleasant and appealing.
This apprenticeship far exceeds my expectations in everyway.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I will also be working towards a Bachelor of Engineering degree at college.
I am developing my communication and teamwork skills within the company as well as professionalism in the workplace. As well as this I am building on my ability to be indepent in certain situations.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
It is also structured in a way that if you have any problems or issues you will always know who to go to with them.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
Mentors, coaches and managers are very supportive and offer useful guidance and feedback on a regular basis.
Any equipment or additional support you require can be given to you also.
Overall there is a very positive attitude by the team towards supporting us.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
